Your Role: Delivery Manager
You'll be responsible for ensuring Global delivers its contractual obligations for bus and rail advertising campaigns-safely, on time, within budget, and to the right quality-working with internal stakeholders, franchise partners, and third-party fixing contractors across the region.
As a Delivery Manager at Global, you will:
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign delivery management: Monitor progress against delivery programmes, proactively manage late/extra workload, and communicate delays and impacts to relevant parties to protect on-time delivery.
- Supplier management, quality & assurance: Validate supplier data and audit campaign delivery (right campaign/right asset/right time), ensure suppliers operate safely and meet required standards, and drive quality adherence on key accounts.
- Special campaigns & regional operations: Lead non-standard and special campaigns (e.g., creative solutions, rail impact, bus wraps, special requests), ensuring requirements are understood and controls are in place to deliver \"right first time\".
- Asset standards, maintenance & cost control: Ensure bus framing/maintenance is on time and cost controlled; monitor and maintain rail assets to required electrical/structural compliance; oversee Birmingham warehouse operations and line manage the warehouse team.
What You'll Love About This Role
Think Big: Improve delivery performance and customer outcomes by spotting risks early and shaping better ways of working with partners and suppliers.
Own It: Take accountability for safe, on-time, within-budget delivery across a defined region, with clear measures and visible impact.
Keep it Simple: Unblock delivery issues quickly by aligning the admin hub, suppliers, and stakeholders with straightforward, practical actions.
Better Together: Work closely with franchise partners, suppliers, sales, and internal teams-sharing feedback, improving processes, and delivering as one team.
What Success Looks Like
In your first few months, you'll have:
- Built strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, suppliers, and franchise partners across the region.
- Established clear delivery oversight (programme tracking, issue escalation, and comms cadence) to protect on-time performance.
- Completed priority audits/assurance activity to validate delivery accuracy, quality, and H&S compliance.
- Taken ownership of special campaign delivery and the Birmingham warehouse operation, with clear standards and expectations in place.
What You'll Need
- Operational/logistics expertise: Proven experience managing operational challenges to deliver services reliably and efficiently.
- Supplier & contract management: Confidence reviewing performance, assuring standards, and managing third-party suppliers.
- Autonomy and teamwork: Able to work independently across a region while collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Communication & presentation: Clear, proactive communicator who can manage expectations and influence outcomes.
- Flexible approach: Willingness to travel and adapt to operational priorities and hours as required.
- Strong IT capability: Confident across Microsoft packages for reporting, tracking, and stakeholder updates.
- Coaching and Development: Nurturing talent by empowering and guiding individuals to unlock their potential.
- Building Trust: Creating and maintaining an inclusive environment where diverse views and experiences are welcomed and celebrated in your team.
