Your new role

Your new role as a Senior Account Executive / Director will be based in themercial team, where you will play a key part in merging 2 offices into London Northwest office, helping to integrate teams and maintain continuity of client service during the transition. What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience in a similar Account Executive or Account Director role withinmercial Insurance will contribute towards your success in this role alongside the ability tomute to NW London. You should have the proven ability to retain and grow client portfolios with the ability to generate new business opportunities. Ideally, you will have experience of managing a team. You’ll bring strong experience working with insurance markets and managing placement activity, alongside hands‑on line management capabilities that includes coaching and developing others. It is beneficial if you possess solid knowledge ofpliance requirements such as FCA regulations and Consumer Duty, paired with technical understanding of insurance products and the confidence to present to clients and colleagues. Working on-site in all weather Unloading scaffolding equipment on-site Ensuring a stable base for scaffolding Fixing scaffolding to buildings or structures Laying planks for workers to walk on fixing guard rails and safety netting Ability to Dismantling scaffolding when a project is complete Take ownership in undertaking construction, fault finding and maintenance repairs aiming for a first-time completion whilst remaining within budget and time parameters. Ensure that the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with service users, clients, and both internal/external stakeholders This includes but is not limited to appearance, company ID, condition of vehicles and maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety requirements. It may be necessary where requested to obtain Customer feedback on completion of works. Process all activities in association with tasks/works electronically utilising a hand held device (PDA). Apply for funding to take the next step towards becoming an independent researcher.
Doing exciting and ambitious research in the remit of the Medical Research Council (MRC). To drive important insights into causes and mechanisms of disease and help accelerate diagnosis, advance treatment and prevent human illness.

You must have:

  • the skills and experience to ‘transition to independence’
  • the support of an eligible host research organisation

There is no limit to the funding you can apply for.
MRC will fund 80% of the full economic cost (FEC) and 100% of exceptions.

Funding is available for up to five years, for up to 50% of your salary.

This funding opportunity is open to organisations with standard eligibility. .

Who is eligible to apply

To be eligible to apply as a new investigator you must:

  • have 
  • be able to show that your skills and experience match those in the ‘transition to independence’ stage of the 
  • use this grant to support your long-term career goals and chosen career route
  • be able to demonstrate you are the sole intellectual leader of the application and the proposed work

If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can also apply if you:

  • are employed as a postdoctoral research assistant, although this grant cannot start until your current work finishes
  • hold a lecturer appointment, a junior fellowship or another research staff position
  • hold, or have held, an early career training fellowship such as an MRC skills development fellowship
  • are not currently based at the eligible research organisation that has agreed to host your new investigator award

  • contracts will be extended beyond the end date of the project

Demand management

You can only be project lead on one application at a time across MRC’s applicant-led responsive funding opportunities (research, partnership and new investigator). If you submit another application while one is being assessed, the new application will be rejected. You should wait until you receive a decision on your current application before submitting another.

Resubmissions

You may apply twice for an MRC new investigator award. If you are applying for a second time we invite you to resubmit your first application, or your second application may be a new application.

We are seeking an Aesthetic Practitioner to join our friendly, reliable and talented team at our Cheltenham Clinic.


Please note this is not an injector role and is a beauty/laser practitioner role.


The Role:

As part of your role as Aesthetic Practitioner, you will be responsible for meeting and greeting your clients, supporting and advising them on suitable treatments and products available to them and carrying out a wide range of advanced treatments.


With outstanding levels of customer service and a genuine care and passion, you will be supporting your clients gain and achieve greater self-confidence through better skin!

You will also be supporting with reception, diary management, and general administration and retailing of products.


Experience, Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

  • Qualified to Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent), Level 4 is highly desirable.
  • Experience within either an Aesthetics, Day Spa, Beauty Counter or Salon environment.
  • Team player, with a positive can do attitude.
  • Passionate about giving great customer service.
  • Experience of working to sales targets and be happy to get involved with promotional activity
  • You should be willing and able to work evenings and weekends.
