Description:
Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a rapidly growing organisation based in Walingford to recruit a Part Time Accountant (3 days per week). The Part Time Accountant will receive a full equivalent salary of £45,000 (£27,000 take home after pro rata) plus additional benefits including mostly remote working - you will only need to go into the office 1 day per week!
Primary responsibilities;
- Prepare monthly management accounts for review by the Financial Controller.
- Analyse sales performance and provide insightful reporting.
- Prepare and maintain stock reports, ensuring inventory values are accurate.
- Process and reconcile monthly accruals and prepayments.
- Maintain the fixed asset register, including depreciation calculations and asset reconciliations.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes as required.
Key experience and attributes;
- Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
- Experience preparing management accounts.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good understanding of accruals, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with accounting systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A professional, reliable and collaborative approach.
