We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
The role is full time for 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, along with Saturdays on a rota. There will be no OOH work or on call duties.

The role:
The role offers the opportunity to utilise all nursing skills with each day being varied. The Nurse will perform a wide variety of duties including the following:
Assisting the Vet in surgery and monitoring anaesthesia.
Holding Nurse clinics and assisting the Vet in consultations
Carrying out procedures including vaccinations, medications, nail clipping and anal gland expression.
Cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
In patient care.
Using the in house equipment.
Stock taking
Infection control.
The Nurse will be expected to provide a high level of in patient care.
The Nurse will also have the opportunity to train and guide student nurses.
The role offers a good work/life balance with flexible rota patterns to suit a good work / life balance.
