Live-in Housekeeper/Nanny req in Scotland (KY13), separate accommodation, 40k gpa

Job Description

A lovely family of four based in the rural village of Rumbling Bridge, Scotland (KY13), are seeking an experienced, reliable and caring Live-in Housekeeper/Nanny to join their household from October 2026. The role will involve preparing breakfast, helping the children get ready and taking the 4-year-old girl to school and the 2-year-old boy to nursery, followed by general housekeeping duties throughout the day, including cleaning, laundry, ironing and maintaining the household. Afternoons will focus on collecting the children from school and nursery, providing attentive childcare, planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and following their established routines.

The role will also include preparing meals for the children and occasional family cooking for the family of four.

A confident driver is essential; an own car is preferred, although the successful candidate may be able to be insured on the family car. 

A pet friendly candidate is essential as the family have a cat and may get a dog in the future.

The successful candidate will have private, self-contained accommodation with its own entrance, bedroom, living room, bathroom and kitchenette.

Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional overnight stays, approximately once a fortnight.

Hours: 7.30am–6.30pm

Salary: £40k gross per annum, depending on experience.
