<p>As an Indirect Category Manager at Jagex, you'll play a key role in shaping how we source and manage the services that support our business. Working across categories including Professional Services, Marketing, Merchandise, Facilities, and HR, you'll develop category strategies, lead commercial negotiations, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders and suppliers alike.</p>

<p><strong>What you'll be doing:</strong></p>

<ul><li>Develop and own category strategies across a range of indirect spend areas, aligned with business priorities and the Procurement roadmap. </li><li>Lead sourcing activities from market analysis and supplier selection through to RFPs, negotiations, contracting, and implementation. </li><li>Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, driving innovation, performance, and long-term value. </li><li>Ensure suppliers are onboarded and maintained within Jagex's supplier risk management platform. </li><li>Deliver measurable commercial value through cost optimisation, risk mitigation, supply continuity, and continuous improvement initiatives. </li><li>Analyse spend, contracts, and supplier performance data to provide actionable commercial insights that support strategic decision-making. </li><li>Secure the best commercial outcomes through effective negotiation, market intelligence, and total cost of ownership analysis. </li><li>Partner closely with stakeholders across the business, aligning procurement strategies with operational needs while building trust and influencing decision-making. </li><li>Support the ongoing evolution of procurement policies, governance, systems, and automation to improve efficiency and maturity across the function. </li></ul>

<p><strong>What we're looking for:</strong></p>

<ul><li>Proven experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management across indirect spend categories. </li><li>Demonstrated success delivering commercial value through supplier negotiations, sourcing, and contract management. </li><li>Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement / supplier management platforms such as Canopy, Coupa, SAP, Oracle or similar. </li><li>Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, quality, risk, and long-term value. </li><li>Experience developing category strategies using spend analysis, market intelligence, and business priorities. </li><li>Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively. </li><li>Experience managing supplier performance and developing strategic supplier partnerships. </li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful commercial insights. </li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. </li></ul>

<p>Rated GOOD by CQC, Oaktrees supports 6 male Service Users who have a diagnosis of autism.  The Service Users are very active and involved in many community activities; including singing in the village choir!  They also enjoy attending their local pub, trips out to the zoo, the local shops as well as BBQs and picnics.  The friendly and long standing staff members, to include the manager who has been in situ for over 20 years’, are excellent at empowering the Service Users to enable them to become more independent – all are very pro-active in making decisions within the home, ensuring a person centered approach.</p>

<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>

<p><strong>You will:</strong></p>

<p>Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans<br>
Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required<br>
Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing<br>
Support activities, appointments, and community access<br>

<ul><li>Deliver exemplary planned care for patients throughout the perioperative pathway.</li><li>Provide skilled scrub support for a range of surgical procedures.</li><li>Assist in the management and organisation of care within the theatre team.</li><li>Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.</li><li>Work collaboratively with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to ensure outstanding clinical outcomes.</li><li>Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, care and clinical practice.</li></ul>

<p><br><b>Who We're Looking For</b><br></p>

<ul><li>HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or NMC Registered Nurse with no restrictions.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years' scrub experience.</li><li>Experience in one or more of the following specialties: General Surgery, ENT, Gynaecology, Urology or Plastics.</li><li>Excellent communication and organisational skills.</li><li>A flexible, positive and patient-focused approach.</li><li>Surgical First Assist (SFA) qualification desirable.</li></ul>
