<p>We are seeking a reliable General Operative to support the delivery of our property clearance works across void and responsive contracts. Due to a sustained increase in workload, this role will play a key part in supporting the clearance team to ensure properties are prepared efficiently and safely for follow‑on works.</p>

<p>The role involves including heavy lifting and will often require working alongside another operative to improve efficiency and reduce time on site.</p>

<p><b>duties include:</b></p>

Clearing void and responsive properties of household items and furniture to prepare homes for repair and refurbishment works

Assisting with the removal and safe handling of heavy items such as sofas and white goods

Supporting day‑to‑day clearance activities across void and responsive maintenance contracts

Working collaboratively with the clearance team to meet programme timescales

Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment at all times

<p><b>Role Criteria:</b></p>

Previous experience in a labouring or general operative role

UK full driving licence

Good customer service skills, with a professional and respectful approach

Ability to use a PDA or willingness to learn

Carry out manual handling and heavy lifting

Sound awareness of health and safety practices within a working environment

The successful candidate will undertake all areas of the patient's peri-operative pathway within the day case unit, consisting of pre-operation assessments, admitting and discharging of patients on the ward, providing the scrub and circulating roles within the theatre suite, ensuring safe effective care at every stage. </p>
