The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for Business Development Manager's to join our team working within South West and South East areas.

We're looking for a driven and ambitious Business Development Manager who thrives on winning new business. If you're motivated by opening doors, developing relationships, and turning prospects into long-term customers, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a field-based sales role focused on identifying new opportunities, generating leads, and securing maintenance contracts across your region. You'll have the autonomy to build your own pipeline while being supported by an experienced operational team.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business through proactive prospecting, cold calling, networking and lead generation.
Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline to consistently achieve and exceed annual sales targets.
Identify opportunities to secure new lift service maintenance contracts across your territory.
Arrange and attend customer meetings, site visits and presentations with prospective clients.
Develop relationships with property managers, consultants, contractors and key decision-makers.
Prepare competitive quotations, proposals and tender responses.
Lead commercial negotiations and successfully close new business opportunities.
Work closely with the regional service teams to ensure a seamless customer handover.
Keep CRM records and sales forecasts accurate and up to date.
Stay informed of competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities.
Joining monthly team meetings onsite.

Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer

A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by a strong Maintenance Engineer has come to the forefront. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on engineer to join an established and successful manufacturing business with a modern, well-equipped production facility.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and breakdown fault-finding across a range of production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will also have the opportunity to work independently, making this an ideal role for an engineer who enjoys diagnosing faults and getting equipment back up and running.

You have demonstrable experience of managing and leading teams to achieve multiple objectives, with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
You hold a CSCS card and have a good understanding of main forms of contract such as JCT and NEC
You are a proactive problem solver with strong organisational skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and able to clearly communicate expectations both internally and externally
