The individuals we support have faced a lot of challenges in the past because of their learning disabilities and mobility issues, but this hasn’t stopped them from enjoying life! However, they’re always up for trying new things, so are looking for inventive people who are up for the challenge. <p>Our Support Practitioner role will include:</p>

Helping to provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team. 

Supporting individuals within the community and engaging with their hobbies and interests &amp; empowering individuals to develop skills and independence, promoting their overall growth.

Attending various community groups and accompanying our service users to attend activities they are passionate about, from taking a trip to the cinema, enjoying a morning swim or attending local groups or community projects, accompany on holidays and trips away with the individuals we support.

Assist with personal care, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.

Payments are made weekly and are consistent for full-time arrangements.<br>We provide clear guidance and practical support to help you understand what being self-employed means.<br><br>What You will Receive<br><br>£585.01 per week, per individual (full-time placement)<br>Tax-efficient payments!<br>Full preparation training before approval<br>Ongoing professional support<br>Structured matching to ensure compatibility.<br><br>Who Might You Support?<br><br>Placements across Dumfries &amp; Galloway include:<br><br>Adults with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health support needs<br>Young adults transitioning into adult services from foster care or residential care.<br>Parent and baby placements<br>Older people, including reablement placements supporting recovery and independence.<br><br>Each placement is carefully matched to suit both your household and the individual.
