<p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to work in Fox Covert Primary school within the Primary 1 classes. Within our school we have an enthusiastic and committed school staff team, there are nurturing, creative and well-resourced learning environments where all learners are supported and encouraged to discover a love for learning.</p>

<p>We are seeking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner to cover maternity leave with a passion for working with our 5-year-old learners in a school setting. This post presents an excellent opportunity to be working as part of our innovative and creative learning environment where our learners are empowered to discover and build on their interests, share ideas and be motivated to learn. Working collaboratively with both P1 class teachers to bridge the developmental gap between nursery play and structured primary benchmarks.</p>

Ability to produce and maintain accurate records relating to a child's development. Possess an awareness of up to-date professional knowledge and current initiatives. An awareness of general Health &amp; Safety and Child Protection policies Promotion of equality and an understanding of diversity issues relating to children and young people.</p>

<p>Qualifications and training:</p>

<p>HNC in Childcare and Education or SVQ Level 3 or Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 7. First Aid certificates, PEEP, Learning Together.</p>

<p>Job specific requirements:</p>

<p>Registered with SSSC as a Practitioner in the Day Care of Children, without conditions. Develop effective relationships with children and parents Ability to work in a sensitive and empathetic manner. Accurately assess children's behaviour and be able to respond accordingly. Ability to create a stimulating environment which assists in the development of language, communication, behaviour and personal care in children. Must demonstrate a commitment to continuous personal development. Ability to work unsupervised Ability to effectively handle issues arising with pupils, staff and parents Experience of planning organised outings. Experience of inclusion programmes for pupils moving into mainstream schools.</p>

<p>This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.</p>

About the Role
We're working on behalf of a well-established public sector organisation to find a  Senior Azure Cloud Engineer  to join their Strategy, Architecture &amp; Innovation team. This is a business delivering essential services to communities across Scotland, currently going through a significant cloud-first digital transformation. This is a hands-on engineering role at heart, with room to bring architectural thinking where it's useful. You'll help set up landing zones and subscriptions for major projects, support colleagues after handover, and play a key part in mentoring more junior members of the team as they develop their skills.
What You'll Do
Design, build, and configure secure, scalable Azure landing zones and subscriptions for new and ongoing projects
Own infrastructure delivery through Infrastructure as Code - no manual changes are made outside of this process
Apply networking and security best practice across the Azure estate
Work closely with project teams during setup, then provide ongoing support as needed once delivery is underway
Mentor and support junior colleagues and graduate placements, sharing knowledge and best practice
Collaborate with the wider architecture function to keep infrastructure aligned with broader cloud strategy
Contribute to the team's continuous improvement as we develop our cloud platform
What You'll Need
Hands-on Azure experience , with a strong networking and security background
Infrastructure as Code experience is a must  - Bicep is our tool of choice, but strong Terraform experience is equally welcome
DevOps experience , ideally with Azure DevOps and Git-based CI/CD
Comfort and enthusiasm for  mentoring  less experienced colleagues
Some exposure to architectural thinking is helpful, though this is primarily a hands-on engineering role
No specific industry background required - we welcome applicants from any sector
Practical Details
Salary:  £45,699 - £51,184
Location:  Based in Scotland, hybrid working across a network of sites
