What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key role in managing commercial resources on this exciting project. You'll be supporting the team in maximising value, controlling costs and maintaining quality standards whilst working on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.
Your day to day will include:</p>

<p>Managing commercial resources to maximise planned gross margin through effective contract control
Preparing and submitting valuations, claims and contract performance data
Assessing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
Maximising cash flow through measurement, valuation and invoicing processes
Valuing subcontractor work and certifying interim and final payments</p>

<p>What are we looking for?
This Senior Quantity Surveyor role could be a great fit if you bring:</p>

<p>Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or highways sector
A relevant qualification, such as a Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying (desirable)
Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
A well-organised approach, with proven time management and the ability to prioritise effectively</p>

                <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Role overview:</strong><br>Loughborough  <br><br><strong>Temp to Perm</strong><br>Full Time<br>Working hours/Shift patterns – 40 hours per week, rotational shifts Monday-Friday between 08:00 AM and 20:00 PM. One weekend shift every 2 weeks (09:00 AM - 17:30 PM).<br> <br>Start Date: Monday, 13th July 2026<br> <br> <br>As a Telephone Sales Advisor (Inbound) you’ll be speaking to customers who have previously visited the companies website and are looking to purchase some of the amazing technology and services.<br> <br>Through effective listening, fact finding and matching the customers’ needs with their amazing technology and services, you’ll convert these calls into sales whilst delivering a best-in-class customer experience and creating customers for life.<br> <br>Don’t worry if you’ve never worked in a telephone sales role, with training and ongoing support you’ll be able to offer a world class sales experience. <br><br><strong>Role overview:</strong><br>As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:<br> <br>• Exploring customer needs and offering suitable products and services from the websites<br>• Effectively pitching the benefits of  products and services to customers<br>• Guiding the customer through the sales journey whilst ensuring they are kept fully informed<br>• Working towards and aiming to exceed sales expectations<br>• Delivering a best-in-class customer experience<br><br><strong>This role will involve dealing with credit(s) payments and setting up credit plans.</strong><br> <br><br>You will need:<br> <br>• To be a confident communicator with strong people skills<br>• To be driven with the desire to consistently exceed sales targets<br>• IT literate with the ability to navigate multiple systems quickly and efficiently <br>• A passion for tech! <br>• Flexible and adaptable<br>• A passion for putting customers first and creating customers for life<br>• Previous sales experience would be desirable <br><br>Please submit your CV or email to michelle.alburey@pertemps.co.uk or call 01509 213000</p>]]></description>
