Teaching Personnel is seeking a confident, adaptable, and motivated Cover Supervisor to join one of our welcoming partner secondary schools in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or individuals with youth work experience to gain valuable classroom experience, support student learning, and contribute to the smooth running of a busy school.
About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 in the absence of the usual classroom teacher.
Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure pupils stay on task.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with the school’s policies.
Support students with their learning and respond to questions where possible.
Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
Assist with additional duties such as lunchtime supervision, if required.
About You
We are looking for a Cover Supervisor who:
Has experience working with young people. This role is ideal for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or those with mentoring/youth work experience.
Can confidently manage a classroom and engage students effectively.
Demonstrates strong communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
Is adaptable, reliable, and able to think on their feet.
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
Holds or is willing to apply for an enhanced DBS check.

We’re looking for a proactive Business Analyst to support the transformation of our reporting processes and contribute to ongoing dashboard enhancements. You’ll work closely with our Risk and Control and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, optimise workflows.
What you’ll do:
● Gather and document business requirements for reporting automation and dashboard enhancements.
● Coordinate the migration of manual reports to our central dashboard.
● Map and improve current reporting processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation.
● Optimise the use of Jira and Confluence for tracking and delivery.
● Collaborate with stakeholders and the Product Owner to clarify needs, priorities, and success criteria.
● Deliver team training and create clear documentation for new tools and workflows.
● Champion best practices in reporting, process optimisation, and delivery tracking.
● Ensure risk and control requirements, as well as cyber security best practices, are considered in solutions.
What you’ll bring:
● Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping.
● Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for requirements tracking and documentation.
● Experience with dashboard/reporting tools.
● Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
● Ability to deliver training and support knowledge transfer.
● Awareness of risk and control frameworks and cyber security principles (desirable).
● Background in Agile delivery and/or financial services (desirable).
It would be great if you also have:
● Experience with data visualisation, including designing or advising on effective and user-friendly dashboard layouts.
● Change management experience, supporting teams through process changes with communication, training, and adoption strategies.
● An analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights.
● Experience with API integrations and familiarity with bringing together data from multiple sources, including third-party systems.
