                <description><![CDATA[<p><b>Role Profile</b></p> <p>We are working with a well-established logistics and distribution business looking to strengthen its warehouse leadership team through the appointment of a Night Shift Warehouse is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the overall performance of the night operation, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, safely and efficiently while maintaining high service levels across the warehouse function.</p>

<p>Reporting into the Warehouse Manager you will lead a team of operatives and one supervisor, driving productivity, engagement and continuous improvement across the shift. As the business continues to expand its warehousing capacity over the coming years, you will play a key role in developing operational processes, improving efficiencies and helping build a best-in-class warehouse operation.<br> The role is on site 5 nights a week, with the hours being 8pm-6am.</p>

<p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p>

Lead and manage the night shift warehouse operation, ensuring service, quality and productivity targets are achieved.<br> * Develop, coach and support Warehouse Supervisors and Operatives to build a strong management structure and efficiency across the operation.<br> * Ensure all outbound orders are picked, loaded and dispatched accurately and on time.<br> * Monitor and improve warehouse KPIs including productivity, accuracy and service levels<br> * Drive a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement throughout the team.<br> * Ensure compliance with all health &amp; safety policies, procedures and legislative requirements.<br> * Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions to improve performance.<br> * Manage labour planning and resource allocation to meet changing business demands.<br> * Work closely with the day shift management team to ensure effective communication and operational continuity.<br> * Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, layouts and operational efficiencies.<br> * Produce and communicate operational reports to the senior leadership team.<br> * Support business growth initiatives and warehouse expansion projects as required.

<p><b>Key Skills &amp; Experience</b></p>

Previous experience on a night shift in a Warehouse Manager, Shift Manager or Operations Manager position within a fast-paced distribution environment.<br> * Proven track record of leading large warehouse teams through front-line supervisors.<br> * Strong people leadership skills with the ability to engage, motivate and develop teams.<br> * Experience driving operational improvements and delivering measurable performance gains.<br> * Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs, productivity measures and labour management.<br> * Sound knowledge of warehouse health &amp; safety legislation and best practice.<br> * Experience working within high-volume distribution, logistics or third-party logistics environments.<br> * Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive approach.<br> * Comfortable using warehouse management systems and operational reporting tools.<br> * Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.<br> * Experience supporting warehouse growth, change management or transformation projects would be advantageous.
