Job Title: Trainee Paraplanner Remote position with occasional travel to Sheffield for team meetings and training sessions (once a month for the day)Salary£30,000 – £34,000 (depending on experience)

Built around a fully remote working model, the team collaborates effectively through structured workflows, regular engagement, and ongoing development. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Paraplanner/Trainee Paraplanner to support advisers in delivering excellent client oues.
The Role
This is an opportunity to join a growing paraplanning function, supporting financial advisers with a wide range of client-focused activities. You will work within a structured environment, using established templates and processes to prepare documentation, carry out research, and assist with ongoing servicing.
The role offers exposure to high-net-worth clients andplex financial planning, providing a strong foundation for long-term career development within paraplanning.
Key Responsibilities
Assist financial advisers in preparing:Suitability reportsFinancial rmendationsConduct research across pensions, investments, protection, and retirement planningMaintain accurate andpliant client records across internal systems and provider platformsEnsure all client files meet regulatory andpliance standardsSupport administration tasks relating to new business submissionsClient onboardingOngoing servicing and reviewsAction client-related transactions ( contributions, withdrawals, fund switches)Collaborate with advisers and the wider team to deliver a seamless client experienceMonitor provider updates and regulatory changes relevant to rmendationsDevelop technical knowledge of financial planning products and advice processesRequirements (Essential)
Minimum 3+ years’ experience within a financial services administration or financial advisory environmentStrong understanding of financial services processes and client life cycleSolid administrative background with excellent organisational skillsHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyStrong writtenmunication skills, particularly for report preparationAbility to work independently in a remote environmentStrong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloadDesirable Skills & Experience
Exposure to paraplanning or report writingKnowledge of pensions, investments, and tax planning ( CGT, IHT)Experience using financial planning or workflow systemsPersonal Attributes
