The Package

  • Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per year basic (Depending on experience) + Performance-Related Productive Bonus
  • Hours: Monday to Friday (with Saturdays on a rota basis)
  • Training: Happy to support with qualifications including MOT licence, Electric & Hybrid, and Air Con
  • Holiday: 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays

What You'll Be Doing

In this hands-on workshop role, you will work across an exceptionally popular, diverse lineup of retail stock and customer cars, ensuring every vehicle is prepared to the highest standard. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough vehicle safety checks, pre-delivery inspections (PDI), and routine manufacturer-scheduled maintenance.
  • Performing precise mechanical tasks including advanced brake work, suspension repairs, and air conditioning recharges.
  • Diagnosing vehicle faults efficiently using cutting-edge independent and brand-specific diagnostic equipment.
  • Upholding stringent quality control standards to maximize first-time fixes and guarantee total customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining precise records of work completed and collaborating effectively with the tight-knit team to manage vehicle turnaround times.

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven workshop experience in vehicle maintenance, prep work, and repair is required.
  • Solid experience in routine vehicle servicing, multi-point inspections, and fault finding.
  • A proactive team player with a strong work ethic, excellent time-management skills, and a commitment to high workmanship standards.
  • The adaptability to work efficiently across various vehicle makes, models, and modern drivetrains.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
