This is a full-time permanent position based in the Solihull area.
Your new role
As General Foreman, your responsibilities will include:Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and direct labourPlanning daily and weekly works to achieve programme milestonesEnsuring strict adherence to health, safety and quality proceduresManaging permits, inspections and method statements (RAMS)Driving productivity, quality workmanship and site disciplineSupporting a positive, collaborative and safety-first site culture.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:Proven experience as a Foreman within the civil engineering industry, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projectsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExcellent knowledge of construction processes, equipment and safety proceduresStrong leadership,munication and organisational skillsCSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and First AidFull UK driving licence.
