To help us be successful in our mission we are looking for a Chemotherapy Nurse to join our Southampton team. 37.5 hours per week / Field-Based / 12 Month Contract If you're a chemotherapy-qualified nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while supporting the development of fellow clinicians, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. At Sciensus, you'll work alongside specialist hospitals and treatment centres to support patients receiving oncology therapies, helping them access treatment safely and confidently. This unique role combines direct patient care with practice development, giving you the opportunity to make a lasting impact on both patient outcomes and clinical excellence across our nursing teams. Seeing between 1 - 8 patients per day, you will record all clinical data and document any adverse drug events via the correct protocol. A full UK driving licence is essential as you will travel throughout a regional area (covering Southampton and surrounding areas) What’s in it for you?

Who we're looking for We're seeking an experienced and compassionate oncology professional who is committed to delivering outstanding patient care while helping others develop their clinical expertise. Essential experience/skills:
Registered General Nurse (RGN), Part 1 NMC Register. Recognised Chemotherapy (SACT) Delivery Qualification. Experience administering oncology medications within a hospital or community setting IV administration, cannulation and phlebotomy expertise. Strong clinical assessment skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of oncology therapies and patient pathways. Commitment to person-centred care and clinical excellence.
Desirable experience/skills:
Clinical teaching, coaching or mentoring experience. Community nursing experience
