<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<ul><li><p><span>To stage manage rehearsals &amp; concerts on a rota basis (including weekends and evening shifts).</span></p></li><li><p><span>To liaise with visiting users of the venue including artists and their representatives to ensure a first-class Stage Management service is always delivered.</span></p></li><li><p><span>To assist with the day to day set up of the stage and other areas of The Bridgewater Hall.</span></p></li><li><p><span>To ensure the stage platform and wings are kept clean and tidy prior to orchestra rehearsals and concerts and to resolve any issues that may arise, always keeping in line with current health and safety regulations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>To assist with evacuation procedures as part of The Bridgewater Hall Emergency Response Team (ERT).</span></p></li><li><p><span>To maintain accurate written records (PPM, Method Sheets and Risk Assessments) and ensure that all working areas are properly maintained, always complying with the current Health &amp; Safety legislation and company policy.</span></p></li><li><p><span>To maintain any technical equipment and assist with stock control of all technical supplies.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Any other duties assigned by the Technical Manager</span><br></p></li></ul>

<p><strong>We are looking for someone with:</strong></p>

<ul><li><p><span>Previous Orchestral Stage Management experience and qualification or relevant experience.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Demonstrate ability to liaise with Orchestra Managers, Tour Managers and musicians.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience in the use of modern production sound &amp; lighting control systems.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Flexible approach to working hours to fulfil business requirements.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Examples of a common-sense approach to resolving stage/technical issues.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.</span></p></li><li><p><span>A good understanding of current Health &amp; Safety practises.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Self-motivated and possessing the ability to work on own initiative.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience of building and sustaining good working relationships.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Good knowledge in general computer skills.</span></p></li></ul>
